Shara Hammet will be at the schools according to the schedule below:
Dauphin Island - December 8th
Brazier - December 6th Turner - December 12th
Shara will be here the end of September and the beginning of October to provide the first set of follow-up, on site professional development. She will be with Dauphin Island on Friday, September 30, Turner on Monday, October 3, and Brazier, October 4. Make sure you have your questions and concerns ready for her. She is excited about being here and working with you.
Yearly Pre-Test
I am currently in the process of gridding in answer sheets for the pre-tests that were administered at the beginning of the year. They will be scored using the same machine used for EQTs. (No they still don't count.) This is being to done to help track the data. Grid sheets will be run and provided to you when you are ready to administer the first Benchmark Test. I will get those to your school by the end of first quarter. I am assuming none of you will be ready to give it before then. None of your other chapter tests will use a grid sheet. They will only be used for Pre - and Post - tests and the Benchmark Tests.
Chapter Tests
You should have received both the Pre-tests and the Post-tests for chapters 1 - 3. (Wes tells me they may have been accidentally labeled as AMPs, so check the box before sending back.) I am going to go ahead and order pre - and post - tests for chapters 4, 5, and the Benchmark test. Let me know if they are not received.
